Who we are
Bristol Subsidence Specialists operates this website as a lead-generation service. We are not a firm of surveyors, engineers or contractors and we do not carry out subsidence inspections or repair works ourselves. Our role is to collect enquiries from homeowners and pass those details on to a fully qualified, approved subsidence professional in the relevant area who is able to help.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form we collect the information you give us, including: your full name, email address, phone number, full property address and postcode, property age, the issue you are seeing, your timeframe, insurance status and any comments or message you choose to include.
Why we collect it and what we do with it
We collect this information for one primary purpose: to pass it on to an approved third-party subsidence specialist operating in your area so that they can contact you directly about your enquiry. By submitting the form and ticking the consent box you are agreeing to your details being shared with that specialist for this purpose.
We may also use your details to respond to you ourselves, to keep a record of the enquiry, and to improve our service.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) – given via the tick-box on the enquiry form – as the lawful basis for sharing your details with an approved specialist. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this will not affect work already done before withdrawal.
Who we share your data with
- An approved, fully qualified subsidence professional covering your location – they will contact you to discuss your enquiry.
- Our form processor which delivers form submissions to us securely.
- We do not sell your data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as is necessary to provide the introduction and to deal with any follow-up queries, and no longer than 24 months unless we are required to keep it for longer.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies for site functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.
